Co-operative identity, values & principles Definition A co-operative is an autonomous association of persons united voluntarily to meet their common economic, social, and cultural needs and aspirations through a jointly-owned and democratically-controlled enterprise. Values Co-operatives are based on the values of self-help, self-responsibility, democracy, equality, equity and solidarity. In the tradition of their founders, co-operative members believe in the ethical values of honesty, openness, social responsibility and caring for others. Principles The co-operative principles are guidelines by which co-operatives put their values into practice. 1. Voluntary and Open Membership Co-operatives are voluntary organisations, open to all persons able to use their services and willing to accept the responsibilities of membership, without gender, social, racial, political or religious discrimination. 2. Democratic Member Control Co-operatives are democratic organisations controlled by their members, who actively participate in setting their policies and making decisions. Men and women serving as elected representatives are accountable to the membership. In primary co-operatives members have equal voting rights (one member, one vote) and co-operatives at other levels are also organised in a democratic manner. 3. Member Economic Participation Members contribute equitably to, and democratically control, the capital of their co-operative. At least part of that capital is usually the common property of the co-operative. Members usually receive limited compensation, if any, on capital subscribed as a condition of membership. Members allocate surpluses for any or all of the following purposes: developing their co-operative, possibly by setting up reserves, part of which at least would be indivisible; benefiting members in proportion to their transactions with the co-operative; and supporting other activities approved by the membership. 4. Autonomy and Independence Co-operatives are autonomous, self-help organisations controlled by their members. If they enter into agreements with other organisations, including governments, or raise capital from external sources, they do so on terms that ensure democratic control by their members and maintain their co-operative autonomy. 5. Education, Training and Information Co-operatives provide education and training for their members, elected representatives, managers, and employees so they can contribute effectively to the development of their co-operatives. They inform the general public - particularly young people and opinion leaders - about the nature and benefits of co-operation. 6. Co-operation among Co-operatives Co-operatives serve their members most effectively and strengthen the co-operative movement by working together through local, national, regional and international structures. 7. Concern for Community Co-operatives work for the sustainable development of their communities through policies approved by their members.

We are merging circles which are similar, my personal network can be roused to scale up/speed up mergers, we're circle makers/keepers. Our rapport masters will seat diverse Americans/world citizen leaders in the
same circle to be productive, powerful and demonstrate huge common ground. WE love people, WE love this Earth, WE love circles and WE love life. WE know how bad the bad people are and WE know how smart and strong WE need to become to heal them and change the game. Our cultural revolution can be led by wise sisters and brothers, Cultural Creatives, artists, visionaries and experts, Elders and Youth. Relationships, agreements, procedures, plans and commitments are needed to help us connect all similar organizations and bring us all together in one circle this summer. Can we meet in comfort, in nature, in safety and fully equiped? But, we must not waste any time, our salvation has become an emergency. If you are not aware of the problems, research and return or join as you trust. Elites have put themselves into a semi permanent position of power over everyone and far too many people are not aware, are dumbed, are misinformed and are currently useless to this mission. The elites are smart and diabolical. They are smarter and more powerful. Until at last we join together our HUGE Family. We need to be able to influence big business and government. We need to know the truth of world history. We need to know what every bodies intentions are. We need to prove what doesn't work and describe what will work. We need to know who we can trust. We need to know what everyone knows about peacemaking, healing, sustainable development, integrity and team building. We need to know what our oldest and best teachings still are. We need to know what tools are available. |
Imagine
Imagine you spent the whole night in prayer with the smartest people you spent years finding. Imagine you all fell in love with each other and came to respect each others ideas, passions and contributions. And Imagine if everyone wanted to achieve something together that no one could achieve by themselves. And we all could listen well and respond with firmness as needed. Imagine we could then bring that group together on a regular basis until we solved each others problems with each others brilliance, that we took risks to listen, learn and share. Imagine we could provide a space which sponsors such action, all the time, when the visionary, team or citizen is ready. What if we could help project after project to complete their visions, plans, teams, skills, budgets, websites, designs, logistics, timelines, contracts, menus, control systems, point of sale solutions, accounting, legal concerns in order to conquer huge problems in our lives and communities. What if you could show up to this place and you are stuck and need help? I will discuss options with each member of OPS as it grows by teleconference and signed agreements. This team sets the stage to develop the wholistic vision of OWC. Conference calls lead to first live event asap "First Planning Meeting" FPM , agreements from high credentialed leaders will earn first $60k. OPS will convene 5-10-20 founding strategists: Hopefully for Credibility and Greatness: Chris Hedges, Evon Peter, Cynthia Mckinney. Marianne Williamson, Evan Pritchard, Brent McMillan, Robert Steele, Winona LaDuke, Ralph Nader, Naomi Wolf, Lyla June, etc........................................ I have a long list of alternate qualified people and orgs to start with. I don't want to contact busy famous leaders until I am quite certain they will be impressed with our beginning and goals. Questions to consider: What revolution did you imagine? Who does what in which council? What can agreements look like, include, make permamnent, make flexible? What problems do you need to deal with? What support services are we missing? What do you need help with from who? What are all the obvious questions and can we answer them swiftly? Will out online crowd sourcing be ready for volume voting and editing. |
